Sansevierias are one of the best starter plants in a beginning plant collector's collection. They thrive on minimal care and love and are often seen in many communal spaces including offices, shopping malls, parks etc. These species is also known as the Mother in Law's tongue, snake plants or scientifically as Dracaena trifasciata. They can be naturally found in West Africa all the way to the east of Congo. NASA used these species as part of their Clean Air Study and found it had the potential to filter out toxins from the air. These plants are super popular as a houseplant and can be seen in many indoor environments as they are hardy and easy to care for.
