The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organisation that works to build better policies for better lives. Together with governments, policy makers and citizens, we work on establishing evidence-based international standards and finding solutions to a range of social, economic and environmental challenges. From improving economic performance and creating jobs to fostering strong education and fighting international tax evasion, we provide a unique forum and knowledge hub for data and analysis, exchange of experiences, best-practice sharing, and advice on public policies and international standard-setting.
The YAP is an exciting opportunity that offers professional experience
at the cutting edge of public policy development and analysis. The YAP
is a 4-month programme designed to expose
recent undergraduates to a variety of
research and analytical work on major policy areas.
A key
component of the Programme is mentorship. During their two-year work at
the OECD, the Young Associates will be closely mentored by their
managers. Managers are therefore selected on the basis of their
professional experience, policy expertise, and ability to work with,
challenge, and develop young talented individuals.
