This traditional Valencian product is the perfect salty snack for
in-between as well as a great food to have together with a glass of wine
in the evening. A simple food made of only flour, yeast, salt, oil and
water.
For sure is:
when you open a bag you cannot stop eating.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover with a towel and let the dough rest for approximately 60 minutes. Then, work the dough again, and form the bread sticks of 20 cm. Cover again with a towel and let them rest for another 70 minutes. Cover the raw sticks with some olive oil and add salt on top. Bake for 20 minutes in an oven at 220°.
