Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five
players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with
the primary objective of shooting a basketball through the defender's hoop
while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop.
I grew up watching a variety of sports with my family & absolutely fell in
love with basketball. I am vertically challenged so i never played on a
team, but I enjoy watching the game just as much as playing. I now have
children of my own and it excites me to watch them grow a love for the
game as well.
