Team NHS to the NorthPole

Led by Robert Shaw, Team NHS North Pole's aim is to raise awareness and early diagnosis of Cancer.
We're doing this by taking an NHS Multidisciplinary team on an expedition to the North Pole to tell our story.

Trek update!

Unfortunately our plan to do our arctic trek in 2021 has changed, all of us including Robert work within the NHS and at the moment work is obviously more demanding and unpredictable. Our original dates for fundraising, arctic training and just training in general have slipped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However our reason for all of this and the message we want to promote through all of this hasn't changed...
Early diagnosis of head and neck cancer is more important than ever.
Across the board for all cancer groups, diagnosis has seen a massive decrease during the pandemic.
It's important more now than ever to make sure you go seek medical advice if you have any health concerns.

Early diagnosis leads to more treatment options and better outcomes.
