Matt grew up only allowed to listen to Christian music; secular music
was prohibited. He then chose to listen to what he wanted. Some of his
musical influences are Jeff Buckely, Johnny Cash and more. His puropse
behind making music came from his parents and their ministry. To do for
others and to be the light for people whom are in dark places. And that
is why I appreciate him so much. I often listen to him when I allow
myself to feel...when I need to feel less alone.
