Napolitaines

Napolitaines originated in Mauritius and are a local pastry despite their French name, and are one of Mauritians' favorite treats. They are melt in the mouth, buttery shortbread cookies sandwiching a layer of jam (we like to use guava jam), and finished with a layer of icing (usually pink or white).
