Hacettepe Haydok is an animal rights group connected to Hacettepe
University in Ankara/Turkey. The group consists of students who
volunteer, professors and people within the university. But as
the area is huge and a lot of animals live on campus, they accept
donations from people outside of university as well!
They assist in the recovery and adoption of homeless cats & dogs,
keeping the animals inside the university campus safe, feeding and
bringing water to all animals on campus grounds.
You can help by donating money or food to the rescue or by becoming a
volunteer. As a volunteer you can assist in different activities; taking
care of homeless cats and dogs, giving them food and water, take part in
building shelters. You can adopt from the shelter, or become a foster
parent to temporarily house an animal that needs immediate protection.
If you live outside of Turkey: You can still donate food online! You
can also support the rescuers and volunteers by following on
Instagram, getting cute cat and dog photos, spreading the love! Please
contact the group for more information.
