Top tips to keep you swimming through the winter!
- 🏋🏻 Make sure that you are already warmed up before you get in.
- 🥶 Shorten your swim! Listen to your body and don’t stay in too long
- 🗓 Swim at least two to three times a week to remain acclimatised.
- 🧖🏽♀️ Dry yourself quickly and thoroughly.
- 🧦 Dress immediately, in warm, dry, clothes, starting from your top half.
- ☃️ Warm up slowly and gradually
- ☕️ Bring a hot drink to warm you from the inside.
- 🙋🏿♀️ Swim with a friend and always let someone know where you are going.
