My journey began in my hometown London where I boarded
a flight to Cancun, Eastern Mexico. From Cancun I was able to visit many
little towns and cities across the Yucatan Peninsula; I experienced the
tropical beach town of Tulum, the colonial city of Merida, then down to
the yellow city of Uxmal and finally to the carribean islands of Isla
Holbox and Isla Mujeres.
After exploring the Yucatan, I took a flight from Mexico City down to
Costa Rica in Central America. As it was monsoon season, I stayed in
Nosara in the Guanacaste region: This is the dryest provinence in Costa
Rica due to it being on the Pacific coast.
After seeing the stunning sunsets on the beaches of Costa Rica, I flew
down to Lima, Peru in South America. Here I visited the subtropical,
Peruvian desert and completed a 4 day hike to Machu Picchu. I ended my
hike by watching the sunrise over the famous ruins.
Next I took a trip accross to Colombia, to the second largest city in
the country called Medallin (Med-a-jean). From there I was able
to visit the beautiful lakes of Guatapé and the colourful town of
Cartagena (Carta-heyna). After my 8 month trip, im now back and
living in Mexico City!
