A History

The Baker Hotel was a popular hotel known for its spa amenities in the 1930s and 1940s in Mineral Wells, Texas. The hotel was built in 1922 and prospered in the first half of the century. Around the 1950s business began to decline until its eventual closing in 1972. The hotel had remained shuttered until 2019, when restoration work was announced.
