Bryce Cotton grew up in Tucson, Arizona, before heading to Providence University where he had a successful four-year career. In January 2017, Bryce Cotton signed with the Perth Wildcats. He led the league in scoring with 23.1 per game and dominated the NBL Finals, winning the 2017 NBL Championship on the back of a 45-point Game Three performance, earning Grand Final MVP honours.
Cotton returned to Perth for 2017/18, averaging 19.8 points, 3.1 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. He was named 2018 NBL MVP – just the third Wildcat to receive the honour. In 2018/19 he became a two-time NBL champion, and went back-to-back in 2020 to make it three championship rings with the Wildcats.
Bryce Cotton signed a new three-year deal with the Perth Wildcats in May 2020 and in 2021 was named back-to-back NBL MVP, becoming just the third player to win the award three or more times.
