Where to get good Coffee in Berlin

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages in the world. Historical evidence from the region occupied today by Yemen states that already in the 15th century coffee was roasted and brewed in a manner similar to how it is prepared now. The first beans where imported from the Ethiopian Highlands and latter, by the 16th century, the cultivation extended to the rest of the Middle East and North Africa before it reached Europe. Today coffee beans are a major export commodity and one of the most valuable products exported by developing countries. Coffee plants are cultivated in over 70 countries, specially in the equatorial regions of the Americas, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and Africa. The most commonly coffee bean types are Coffea Arabica and Coffea Robusta. The seeds are extracted from the berries and once roasted they become a consumable product which can be sold as whole beans or grounded. The ready to drink infusion has a dark color, a slightly bitter and acidic taste and a stimulating effect due to its caffeine content. It can be brewed in a variety of ways like American, Espresso, French press, Turkish and many others.Learn More ֹ
