Madwoman's Milk is currently a small, women owned
business. We hope to become a social business with the aim of helping
young women have their own business.
in order to tell you more about us, first you should know Cura's myth:
"Cura is the name of a Roman goddess who created the first human and
whose name means Care or Concern. In crossing a river,
Cura gathered clay and, engrossed in thought, began to mold it. When she
was thinking about what she had already made, Jove arrived on the scene.
Cura asked him to grant it spirit. He grants her request readily, but
when she also asked to give her creation her own name, he forbade it,
insisting that it had to carry his name. Earth also arose and wanted it
to have her name because she had made her body available for it.
Finally, Saturn determines that since the spirit was granted by Jove, he
should have it in death; Earth, would receive the body she had given;
Cura, or Care, had been the creator, she would keep her creation as
long as it lived."
We are on a creating journey, what we hope to achieve here is similar. we
hope to create with care and concern. We hope to create because of our
care and concern.
