Faced with a rapidly growing collection of houseplants and a desire for unique pots for them, it seemed the perfect time to pursue an interest in 3D printing. Eventually it got to the point where the number of pots outgrew even the vast number of plants to house, and PrettyPrintedPots was born. From simple designs to elaborate ones that take days to print, we find joy in the combination of creative and technical processes, and being able to make beautiful and functional pieces.
Our pots are all 3D printed. They start as digital files that we’ve
designed or built off of, then our 3D printers use spools of filament to
bring the pots to life, one layer at a time.
The filament is a plant-based plastic, which is
sturdy, durable, and comes in a huge range of colors.
Some are even translucent, metallic, or glow in the dark.
Our pots are customizable, so you can specify the size,
color, and whether or not you would like drainage holes. Our aim is to
make great homes for your plants!
