Indoor Climbing has seen a rise in popularity because it provides a fun and social way of getting a great workout. The rapidly increasing indoor climbing gyms are also fueling this rise in popularity as they make climbing safe and accessible to learners and experts alike. I have recently started indoor climbing and I am enjoying learning new skills and the benefits that it provides.
Indoor Climbing is scaling manufactured walls with grips for hands and feet. The goal is to climb all the way to the top, without falling. Although some people might be scared to try indoor climbing because of the fear of falling, it is safe when you fall as you'll be attached to ropes and there are pads at the bottom. Indoor climbing walls were first built to help rock climbers train and continue climbing during wet and cold winter months.
