Home sewing for beginners
It's easier than you think!
Have you always admired the unique styles of small boutique makes, but
always find them a bit too pricy? Then you'll be happy to know that
making them yourself is easier than you'd think!
If you want to learn how to create your own garments you could attend a
sewing course or borrow a book about sewing techniques at your local
library. However, in this modern day and age, you can learn how to get
started from the comfort of your own home, simply by watching a few
videos on youtube about the topic. Many sewists make great youtube
resources about sewing, free of charge for you!
After learning a little about what you need to get started it's time for
your first project! My advice is to find a patternmaker making
easy-to-follow and choosing a project you feel passionate about making!
Sewing is a lot more fun when you're excited about the result!
