I’m sure that I talk for most coffee lovers that just one sip of it a day it’s not worth it, we have to drink a good cup of coffee, with our little rituals and specifics ways to prepare. Ah, yes, coffee. And that is why that *cough* American *cough* habit of putting a sachet coffee in a cup is simply the saddest way to drink coffee, ugh the instant coffee.
My coffee is just * chefs’ kiss*, I'm sad that you can't taste it, but I’m about to share the coffee-making process with you -whoever is reading this-.
Okay, first things first, prepare to boil the water right now, so you’ll get the perfect temperature by finishing the whole process, trust me. Take your favorite coffee powder this is my favorite, but I'm not being sponsored. Pour the coffee into the filter, the amount that your heart decide, while you think about how your anxiety will get with all this caffeine. Anyway, pour the water, be smoth and steady. Let the grounds sink and absorb the water. You can use a little spoon to mix the grounds that were stuck in the filter, there is no waste here. Now, do not put sugar in it, please.
Drink it. Thank me later.
Well, it was more simple than I thought! And yes, the flavor is only one part of the experience!
Many people don't understand the true essence of coffee since they have NEVER had a real cup of coffee before. But in reality, many Brazilians are also content to drink the cheapest -and I'm not talking about the price- of all, which is a pity, and sometimes they do the worst: they add about three, four, five teaspoons of sugar, just like that, all at once, and that, that is not a pity, it's a sin.
Please, don't be fooled into buying "gourmet" coffee, it is gourmet, we understand, it is more expensive, the package is prettier, but the taste... Well, some people like it or pretend to like it or add five more teaspoons of sugar to get it down the throat. Look, don't be offended, please, coffee with a slight taste of chocolate and honey would be very well replaced by a beautiful cup of PURE coffee with a small piece of 50% chocolate (and the love for cocoa is not only because of my nickname Cacau, aka cocoa in Portuguese).
