Books, authors and places

" I have never known any distress that an hour's reading did not relieve" (Montesquieu)

By Maria Urrutia

People who read are differentiated in their relation with their reading habits. A bibliophile is a person who collects or has a great love of books but that is not all. There are readers that are very proud of their book collection, some are very knowledgeable about books, there are those who love the smell of books and others, like me who carry a book with them at all times.
It is true that you don't have to travel to experience beautiful places, human relationships and beyond from the comfort of your house. However, as one who likes travelling, I find the idea of visiting the places where my favourite authors lived or places that they visited, is very interesting because it gives another level of understanding or connection with them.
