Rythmn and Blues , popularly known as R&B, is a genre of music that originated in the 1940s. The term Rythmn and Blues was first used in 1948 by Journalist Jerry Wexler. R&B became a way for African Americans to bring multiple styles of music together into one genre. R&B lyrics often tells the highs and lows of love.
