Take on the challenge, you may surprise yourself
You know the saying: if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. The best part about skiing is that everyday is differnt and throughout your trip you'll build confidence in both yourself and the slopes. You can learn to ski at any age as it is a technique sport that you can enjoy way into your 90s! Make sure you book into ski school and have some lessons to learn the basics and in a couple of days you'll be whizzing around the resort on your own.

Exercise in the great outdoors
It is easy to hibernate during those gloomy winter days, but skiing and snowboarding is a great way to get you outside, learn a new skill and connect with nature . Vitamin D isn’t always easy to find come the winter-time, but skiing all day will have you soaking up those winter rays, breathing in that fresh mountain air and getting some postcard perfect views. Although it is snowy, don’t forget your sunscreen (unless you really want to rock the goggle tan look!) Read more about the health benefits of skiing here

With activities such as huskey rides, sleding, and ice-skating, you'll be able to find something for everyone and make memories you'll be talking about all year long! Discover some of the best views in the world
I’m sure that you realise that mountains are pretty important for a skiing holiday. But, snowcapped mountains are not just for sliding down. They provide the most spectacular views you'll ever see. You'll get picture perfect views at every turn you take, it's like living in a post card. And don't worry, there's plenty of opportunity on a ski holiday to sit back, relax and take it all in.

It's good to laugh
The biggest fear of skiing is making a fool of yourself. Holidays are meant to be fun, not painful right? Tuition is the best way to ensure you are safe and confident whilst on the busy slopes. Whilst, I cannot deny that you will probably fall over at some point, you will learn how to do so safely and in control. Even the most professional looking geezers fall (if anything, they fall more than most) Trust me, no one is looking at you ski. The only thing that will be bruised, is your ego, so keep it light hearted and be sure to bring a go pro to laugh those moments!
