Repetition and practice makes all perfect

Test yourself - always and anytime.
Take your time and spread the learning out over the day (a certain period of time). Just like an athlete does training sessions to get better.
If you look at the brain like a muscle, it can only do a limited amount of "movement" at any given time. But this muscle gets stronger with every workout. Packing knowledge into units (chunks / chunking). Take a rest! It is easier to learn new knowledge in digestible portions. Something every day, but regularly.
