Kenny Random

Street Art in Padova

Kenny Random, pseudonym of Andrea Coppo (Padova, 1971), is an Italian artist and writer. Despite the versatility of its production, the reason why it is known are the numerous murals that adorn the city of Padova, which are incremental with new works. His production has evolved over the years, starting from anthropomorphic figures, passing through stencil shapes up to incorporating various cartoon characters to give greater expressiveness to the message conveyed.

Recognizing the works of Kenny Random is quite easy and not only for his unique style but also for the almost constant presence of the cat and the bird as well as the silhouette of a boy with a top hat and duster.

His murals are now present both in the industrial area and in the historic center of Padova, and can thus be considered part of the city that in some cases it was chosen to preserve them during the renovation of the buildings involved. His style is very reminiscent of that of another famous street artist: Banksy.
