Having a bad day? Here's a fun Bat fact: Vampire bats have small and extremely sharp teeth which are capable of piercing an animal’s skin (humans included - eek!) without them even noticing. Pipistrelles are tiny bats with reddish-brown coats and blackish-brown ears, nose and wing membranes. Like other bats, pipistrelles are nocturnal. They emerge at dusk to feed for a couple of hours before returning to their
roosts. Bats need different roosting conditions at different times of the year and they will often move around to find the perfect home.
