Having a bad day? Here's a fun Bat fact: Vampire bats have small and extremely sharp teeth which are capable of piercing an animal’s skin (humans included - eek!) without them even noticing. I wouldn't worry about these guys though. Look at their snoots! Truthfully, this page has nothing to do with vampires. Lets talk about pipistrelles, the most common bat in the UK

Pipistrelles are tiny bats with reddish-brown coats and blackish-brown ears, nose and wing membranes. Like other bats, pipistrelles are nocturnal. They emerge at dusk to feed for a couple of hours before returning to their roosts. Bats need different roosting conditions at different times of the year and they will often move around to find the perfect home.
