Adopting a pet is one of the best decisions you can make. You are
providing a home for an animal that someone else was unable to care for
- either because of circumstance, or they just didn't know any better
and surrendered the animal to give it a chance at a better life.

disreputable "breeders" the money they need to continue.

Puppies and kittens are frequently available; however, they tend to be adopted well before the older animals. You should look at the more mature animals available as well, as they are just as in need of good homes!
