The art of truly living

The science behind a fulfilled life

For the past 14 months I have been exploring what consitutes a life worth living.

I started my journey resigining from my job as a lawyer to be the carer for my sister following her open-heart surgery. Facing the possible death of one of the 2 most important people in my life made me evaluate what was important and what was not.

Once she recovered, I set off with a one-way ticket to Europe, with a tiny 38 L backpack and no plan. So far I have been to 🇫🇷🇬🇷🇮🇹🇸🇮🇦🇹🇨🇭🇩🇪🇪🇸 and now finally 🇵🇹.

In my travels, the happiest and most fulfilled people I met were George and Eleni Karimali, an organic farmer and cook from Ikaria, a Greek Island in the Aegean (AKA a Blue Zone country).

Their passion for their craft, care in accomodating guests and purpose to love their land and their life was truly breathtaking. I learnt how to cook from Eleni and learnt how to live from George.

Since then, I've had sooo many experiences (both exciting and challenging), but I have held in my heart that the key to fulfilment is health, purpose in life, a strong community network and of course, a good dose of nutritious food 😉.
