A mini guide for some of my faviourite restaurants in London, I cherry picked a restaurant from each area of London. London has such a diverse range of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. One of the things that has helped me cope with not being able to travel due to Covid-19 is to be able to indulge in the various cuisines London restaurants has to offer, pretend I'm not in London and have a little bit of escapism. So I hope you're able to enjoy these restaurants as much as I have!



Hakkasan, Mayfair (Central London)

Budget: Expensive (££££)
What to order: Duck salad
Tip: Book in advance, earliest availability is currently in mid-September.

Hakkasan is a beautiful reastaurant with innovatively created cocktails and a unique wine list, are combined with carefully chosen dim sum and Chinese dishes that are ever changing, dynamic and new. The result is authentic Cantonese cooking with a contemporary flare – at once subtle and thrilling - and all made with the best ingredients.


Ciullosteria, Balham (South London)

Budget: Mid-range (££)
What to order: Pizza and any seafood dish
Tip: On a Summer's day book to sit next to the bifold windows for alfresco dining.

All traditional and completely authentic, Ciullõsteria provides home style Italian cookery ranging from hand made pasta to fresh, crisp twelve inch pizzas, all served with quality wines from the country’s best and most well known vineyards.


Roti King, Euston (North London)

Budget: Affordable (£)
What to order: Mee Goreng Mamak and the roti of course!
Tip: Since lockdown to save time you can only make one order, so make sure to order wisely!

Roti King is a Malaysian no frills restaurant but when you enter it feels like being welcomed into a family space, from the canteen style dining to the waiters going around to each table with a pile of fresh, piping hot roti dishing out extras. The open kitchen adds to the experience, being able to watch the chef prepare the infamous roti and being caught up in the aromas floating out of the kitchen is part of what makes Roti King so special.


Zuaya, Kensington (West London)

Budget: Expensive (££££)
What to order: Lamb tacos.
Tip: A great place to book for a special occasion.

som saa, Shoreditch (East London)

Som Saa

Budget: Mid-range (££)
What to order: Whole deep fried seabass.
Tip: The palm sugar ice cream with grilled banana is a must!

som saa is a Thai restaurant and bar using seasonal British produce and quality Asian ingredients to serve regional dishes from across Thailand.
