BASIC COMPUTER ANATOMY 💀ðŸĶī

Every computer in the world needs five, basic components: a motherboard, a CPU (processor), a GPU (graphics card), RAM memory sticks and some type of storage.

THE MOTHERBOARD

The MOTHERBOARD is like the brain of the computer. Like our bodies, without the brain, nothing works. It links all components together and makes them comunicate and work effectively.

THE CPU

The CPU is the central processing unit, or simply, the processor. It is the muscle, the horsepower, the strength of our computer. The stronger the processor, the stronger the computer.

THE GPU

The GPU is the graphics proccesing unit. It can be considered the eyes of our computer. Without a GPU, the computer is unable to output an image to a screen.

THE RAM MEMORY

The RAM memory works as our short-term memory. On the computer's brain, there are tasks that need to be remembered only at that given moment. This is where the RAM comes into place. After the computer reboots or powers down, it is erased.

THE STORAGE

The STORAGE is equivalent to our long-term memory. Files, tasks and programs that will remain on the computer after it is powered down and turned on are installed in some type of storage.

PC BUILDING 🔧ðŸ–Ĩïļ

Building a computer is, in short, connecting all these components and feeding them electrical power. Just like that, you have a PC built.
On Youtube there are many step-by-step tutorials on how to build a computer. Here are my favorites from some tech Youtubers I love:
