About the Show
Todd Phillips' highly praised award-winning film is now set to be shown
at the heart of Glasgow UNESCO City of Music, accompanied by a live
orchestra.
With Hildur Guonadottir's remarkable composition alongside the
screening, it undeniably enhances the dramaticy, the emotions and the
overall protrayal of the character.
The protagonist portrays a destitute party clown and a stand-up comedian
who is mentally unstable and has been neglected by the society.
Eventually, we see the character develop into a cynical criminal with a
characteristic theme of a clown due to his previous experiences of
maltreatment. From then on, Arthur Fleck is known as the
Joker .
