Soap Library
is a holistic tape label in New York City. Founded in 2015, the label pairs cassette tape releases with sensory objects to create
holistic musical experiences. We tell stories using all five senses — a
whiff of a eucalyptus sniffer, a sip of chaga tea, the feel of an
embroidered patch, the tinkle of a silver bell — paired with a limited
edition cassette tape.
The artistic process is undeniably stressful. By working with artists
who are often embarking on their first solo project, Soap Library
provides a uniquely therapeutic service that leaves artists feeling
emboldened, encouraged, and loved. At the heart of Soap Library is the
indescribable connection between music and memory.
