Crafting means: the activity or hobby of making
decorative objects with your hands (Cambridge dictionary)
The journey of making something, has such highs and lows, at least it
does for me. It challenges my sense of perfectionism, as nothing I've
ever created is perfect. It is made by human hands and this shows when
you study the creation; it contains slight differences in tension,
stitch length not matching exactly and sometimes my dyslexic grammar
errors. It's still a beautiful journey and you get to look back at
your creation with pride and think 'I made that'.
We all have to
start somewhere, and our craftmanship will only get better the more we
try.
I hereby invite you to try taking off your perfectionist and/or
fearsome hat and give a craft a go!
