Wakeboarding is a Pro Water Sport, where the rider is strapped to a board and for the most part towed by a boat, but can be towed by jetskis. The rider can ride the surface of the water, as well as perform wakeboarding tricks behind the boat. Furthermore, wakeboarding first came about in the 1980s by a man name Jeff Darby and the sport eventually entered the competitive field as it was added to the X Games.
