1 :A talkitive, 2 year old, american longhair feline with asthma.
2 :The residing queenie of Church Hill. Typically found hiding from the
world under chairs, beds and other nooks. At her mightiest she can be
observed bathing in the sun, napping on her green couch, stalking birds
and mice, or hissing at strangers that pick her up.
Birdie was adopted by her parents in March 2020 to
assist them through a global pandemic. She's a truly majestic and charming
little beastie that captures the hearts of everyone she encounters. Her
specialties include: grooming until she is soaking wet, jumping out from
behind things to give you a little fright, posing for attention, a multitude of
yowls/meows/chirps, and shedding her mane in perfect clumps of hair.
Her Favorite Things:
Corn
Hunting lizards & mice
Naps in her backyard
Rachel Ray™ cat treats
Hiding & scurrying
Every toy ever
Birdie is still very new in this world which makes her extremely timid & suspicious, she holds her cards close to her
chest and gaining her trust is a long endeavor. Birdie hates sudden
movements, loud noises, or when her parents put something new in the house
or when furniture gets moved to a different spot.
Things That Scare Her:
Alex, the neighborhood street cat
The vacuum
Her reflection
Boots & shoes
Her inhaler
Being alone
Birdie will sit or lay down on command for a treat and when you can catch her, she's very photogenic.
From her fuzzy grinch slippers to her ridiculous yawning face she is quite a sight to behold.
