The Czech city of Prague, with its 1.3 million inhabitants, is the most populous city in the Czech Republic and also its capital.
The metropolis on the Vltava River has a historical past - it was the capital of Bohemia and royal and imperial residence
in the Holy Roman Empire. Today, the golden city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The most beautiful sights include
Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the medieval Town Hall Clock, the Jewish cemetery or the oldest active synagogue in the world.
