Why do I love cake, you ask?
I remember that first bite like it was yesterday. The day was May 28th and the year was 1995. The day I turned 1 year old. Every birthday, wedding, shower, break-up, rainy day and sunny day that followed, I celebrated with cake. Baking the cakes for these occasions was where I found my true passion in life. My baking career began when I was 11 years old, making birthday cakes for the neighbor kids. It wasn't until Ii was 14 years old that I tried my hand at my first wedding cake. I have found, out of all the cakes I have made, the cakes that taste the greatest, are the ones I share with others.
