I recently cooked an vegan Ethiopian feast for my husband's birthday, using a variety of recipes from Kittee Berns' cookbook Teff Love. This included some signature spicy recipes using Berbere, but also some more mild ones so that my one-year-old daughter could join in the celebration as well.
