LSU Football



Louisiana State University, aka LSU, was founded in 1853 in the city of Pineville, Louisiana. In 1926, the campus was moved to its current location in Baton Rouge. Now, the main campus consists of over 250 buildings that spans a 650-acre plateau on the banks of the Mississippi River.


The LSU tigers football team currently ranks 11th best in winning percentage in the NCAA Division I football history. The team has won 4 National Championships (1958, 2003, 2007, and 2019), 16 conference championships, and 39 consensus All-Americans. As of 2018, LSU had 40 former players that were active on NFL rosters, the 2nd most of any college program.
