The Cast of Bluey's Big Play
The people behind the puppets
The cast of Bluey's Big Play are an excellent bunch of people. They
work extremely hard to bring the Heeler family to life using puppets
that are both large and cumbersome (although ultimately extremely
cute). The cast are from all over Australia including Adelaide,
Melbourne and Brisbane. Some had a background in puppetry before this
show and some are just boring old actors who learnt how to puppeteer
specifically for Bluey!
The show is hard work and if you look very closely at the puppeteers
you can see the sweat trickling down their faces as they smile through
the pain.
