Color Theory in a Flash

Color Theory 1 [noun]
is the basis for the primary rules and guidelines that surround
color and its use in creating aesthetically pleasing visuals.
We all know about
Primary, Secondary, and maybe even
Tertiary colors. Secondary color are made by mixing 2
Primary colors; whereas Tertiary are achieved by mixing 1 Primary + 1
Secondary color.
When combined correctly, can create great color harmonies. Since color
is better explained visually, here is how these 3 levels look like in
a wheel color:

Hue could also be called “root” or “source” color. The hue is always one of the 12 key color places on the basic color wheel. -
Color saturation refers to how vivid, rich, or intense a color is, this is achieved by adding white or black to the color. -
A shade is technically the color that you get when you add black to any given hue.
