Intro to Shenanigans

Shenanigans NY, Inc. is a Board Game Event Service that helps you "find your people." Assuming laid back people that want more than just a night of drinking and empty conversations are "your people."

While you can always find us at one of our public board game nights at locally-owned bars, restaurants, and lounges in the New York City area; you can also call us to help you keep guests entertained at a private event, fundraiser, or corporate team building event!

What to Expect at a Shenanigans Board Game Night

A rotating selection of 10-15 board games from our 400+ Board Game Library
A Shenanigans Game Guru to help you find a game you might like, teach you the rules, and serve as a referee if you need one.
A Shenanigans Menu and/or coupon for your night at the restaurant.
Friendly and respectful people like yourself (introverts & extroverts included) who respect each person's expressed boundaries
4 hours of gameplay! NBD if you're late -- you're usually not the only one as members of the ShenaniFam arrive at various times throughout the event! (Try to arrive as early as you can to get first pick of games)

Tyler White (she/her/hers) is the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Shenanigans NY, Inc. Along with her husband and business partner, Randall Acosta, she set out to give others fatigued by the demands of the digital world a place to rest & find friends as an adult. "We aim to spread Buds & Board Games with everyone. Buds as in friends, beers, & (in light of recent legalization) an oft maligned flower. It's really hard to find 'your people' in the world, so we aim to be authentically us to help 'our people' find us."
