In honor of the only solar eclipse of 2021, Lorde has made her long-awaited return to music. Four years after her second studio album “Melodrama,” Lorde has released the first single off her upcoming album of the same name, “Solar Power.”

The album will have a strong emphasis on environmentalism, both in songs and concert merchandise. All the upcoming world tours merchandise is made from recyclable materials. Additionally, she has made the decision to not sell physical CD copies. Instead she will set recyclable box set with a digital download of her album and an exclusive poster.
