The Peak District is located centrally in England,
mostly situated in the county of Derbyshire but also covers parts of
Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire and Yorkshire. The Peak
District became the first national park in the United Kingdom in 1951
and attracts many visitors each year.
