I am a Catahoula Leopard Dog
What is a Catahoula Leopard Dog, you ask? Well, we are the state dog breed of Louisiana! Depending on who you ask, we are bred for:
- Rounding up livestock in swampland
- Hunting wild boar
- Being adorable
Personally, I really enjoy being out in the woods and I *love* hunting squirrels and chasing livestock. Unfortunately, the goats I've met don't listen to me telling them where to go.
My mom loves me very much, which means that she gives me the exercise I need every day to stay sane! Sometimes this means that we go on a walk (and she lets me chase rabbits 🐰 at the soccer fields) or we PLAY! 😍 I really like playing tug, but unfortunately this means I often put holes in my toys. 🥺 Once my strong teeth put a hole in a toy, my sister rips all the stuffing out. My Grandma sometimes is able to fix my toys and give them back to me, but often they are gone for good.
