Paris

where to stay, where to go, what to do

Thalys

Travel by train and limit your carbon footprint! From Amsterdam it takes only 3 hours and 10 minutes. You can bring more baggage than you can do flying and the seats are way more comfortable.

Hôtel Saint-Jacques

The Hôtel Saint-Jacques welcomes you in a beautiful stone building at the heart of the Latin Quarter, an area frequented by the capital’s artists and students. As soon as you set foot through the door of this romantic hotel, you will find yourself transported back to the 19th century thanks to the murals, paintings, valuable books, decorative objects and its period staircase.

Le Marais

A romantic, festive and trendy district, the charm of the Marais lies in its cobblestone streets, historic spots and quirky boutiques. Straddling the Paris Centre arrondissement, this district with a village feel was built on marshland (‘marais’ in French), hence its name. Parisians and visitors alike love to come here for a leisurely stroll, as it is a great place to spend time and/or go shopping.

Atelier des Lumières

Feel like a change from classic museums? The Atelier des Lumières is an astonishing combination between art and technology. The works are no longer hung on the walls but projected on them and in constant movement! This immersive experience dazzles both the young and the old alike.
