Many Caribbean Islands celebrate Carnival each year, but the experience
locals and visitors from all around the world have at Trinidad and
Tobago's (T&T's) Carnival is simply out of this world.
Known as the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ , T&T's
Carnival is officially celebrated on the Monday and Tuesday before Ash
Wednesday every year. The Carnival festivities start just after
Christmas and continue until Ash Wednesday, with dozens of high energy
parties and premier cultural competitions. From its diverse people and
culture, to its amazing biodiversity, T&T breaks the mould of the
typical Caribbean destination and boasts a year-long calendar of
cultural events and festivals.
