The Great Migration
Every year, more than 1.5 million wildbeests migrate in search of
greener pastures. This migration is dictated by weather patterns and has
come to be popularly known as The Great Migration. The
northward migration begins around July and ends in August or beginning
of September as the wildbeests move from Serengeti in Tanzania
northwards into the adjoining Masai Mara Reserve in Kenya. It is one of
the world's most spectacular and thrilling display of wildlife
behaviour.
