Student edition or Custom 24?
A custom 24 is a US build PRS and can cost anywhere from £3,000-£15,000, are these worth the money when you can get a very decent guitar for £800...the Student edition.
Verdict
Both of these guitars are stunning and excellently crafted. Yes the Custom 24 will have a higher quality in wood, finish and electronics. It also has the added privilge of being build in Marlyland in the US PRS factory. The SE though built in Korea still looks fantastic and sounds great, though misses some of the fatter tones. if money was no option, yes go for the Custom 24, but for most of us the SE is a perfect well rounded guitar for the beginner or pro!
