Given its geographic location, Portugues Cuisine naturally revolves a lot around seafood: different kinds of fish and crustaceans. My favorite food discovery during my time in Portugal was a dish called Bacalhau a bras. It's very far from being fancy and looks rather unattractive. It seems like a dish composed of what's left in the fridge. However, that echoes cozy and comforting home food. And that's exactly how it tastes too. It's basically a mix of salted cod fish chunks, rougly chopped potatoes, onions, eggs, olives and an abundance of fresh parsely. Simple and exquisite.
