Technology is ruling the world, I just hate the fact that we're trading real books for some shiny new iPads
I hate the fact that this pandemic has taken away many of our normal day to day lives, but I just wish the library
would stay forever. I can't speak for many when it comes to the safety issues, I understand that things may not look
the same as it once was, but I feel like the library is worth saving. For a big portion of my life I worked with
children, so I saw firsthand how big of a hit the children took when having to learn even more about technology at
such a young age. I saw how their assigned online reading would give the child such an amazing photo and an animated
voice gave the story some life. Still, I couldn't help but think of myself sititng in a desk as they were but my hardcopy
book gave me the key to open up my own imaginaton. It all has to start somewhere, and I feel that the library is
worth saving.
