Ingredients
5 oz unsalted butter
5 oz brown soft sugar
4 oz caster sugar
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
¾ tsp bicarbonate of soda
¾ tsp sea salt
8 ¾ oz plain flour
6 ½ oz dark chocolate chunks
Method
Whip the butter by machine or by hand with a wooden spoon until soft

Add both sugars and mix until combined, then add the egg 🥚
Mix the dry ingredients in a seperate bowl, then fold into the wet
mixture
Scoop out 60-g/ 2¼-oz portions of the cookie dough, roll into
balls and place on 2 trays lined with baking parchment. Leave to
chill in the fridge overnight 🌜
The next day, preheat the oven to 160°C fan/ 180°C/ 350°F/ gas mark 4

Space the dough balls evenly. Bake for 12 minutes (or 14 is cooking
from frozen) ⏱
